We had a great stay at riad coq fou. The Italian owner, and the other people working there have welcomed us with great hospitality, kindness and the best help to explore Marrakesh. We had a great dinner, made by Leila, and enjoyed the nice breakfast (at the rooftop) every day. The room was comfortable and the riad lovely!

Leila, the caretaker, made us feel most welcome during all our stay. It is great to be looked after by such a warm-hearted and lovely person. Also wonderful roof terrace available
Agreed transfer from bus station we found overpriced by moroccan standards (more expensive than taxi anywhere in europe...?). Also there was no TV in any of the rooms (i peaked into others) as advertised in Booked.net - did not bother us, but should be corrected. Also guess we had the least nice room of all available, but was still OK

The riad was beautiful and well designed. The breakfast was very generous and the staff was friendly.
The lack of wifi in the riad was the only downer

The riad is a quiet and beautiful oasis in the madness of the medina. I loved the design of the rooms, each one a litle different .The staff at Le Coq Fou were very friendly and helpful. Larcen always assisted us whether it was showing us the way in the medina or helping us arrange transport. We used Marrakech as a base for our Moroccan trip and stayed at Le Coq Fou three times!

The cleaning/kitchen staff were great, the breakfast was very good, the location was very convenient, the rooftop terrace was very relaxing.
The promised transfer from the airport did not happen, be ready to make alternate plans if booking at this riad.

The Riada is located in a cosy and quite place in the very centre of vivid Marrakesh Market. It is incredible, indeed, how Riada can stay so safe, quite and comfortable in the heart of trading centre. The staff of Riada is more than hospitable. At the very moment you step over the doorstep of Riada, the staff offers you aromatic tea and sweets. Additional words must be said about interior of the Riada. It’s awesome! Every room and terrace is designed with a care and good taste.
for the first time a little bit difficult to find them

I recommend. It’s very clean and the staff very nice. Totally worth the money.
It is not super near from Djema El-Fnaa Square, but that’s not totally bad, because you will sleep better without the noise at night.

Nice, clean rooms and peaceful courtyard/roof terrace, good location, definately a good value for money.
The courtyard had no fresh air, but it was because the nylon roof was on.(I guess it is open in spring/summer) Breakfast is a bit boring, but it is typical Moroccan so part of the cultural experience.
